everlasting, eternal
Everlasting means (1) "lasting forever"; (2) "incessant," "never-ceasing"; (3) "boring," "tedious": "The everlasting hills were inspiring to the artist." "His severe illness caused him everlasting agonies throughout his body." "Children, please stop your everlasting chatter." That which is eternal is without beginning or end, is always existing: "She thought of God as the eternal father of everyone." Related words which might come closer to expressing a given meaning are permanent, unending, perpetual, ceaseless, endless, and enduring.
